The eagle-eyed among you may have already noticed that LinkedIn has made a few changes to its layout and design on desktop. It’s been rolling out for all their members for the last week or so. According to their release, one of the biggest changes you’ll find is a single search box at the top of every page, “to find People, Jobs, Companies, Groups and Schools.”

I’ve had a dig through to find out where they’ve put our favourite features, to see what they’ve added and to figure out what it means for the everyday user. And, as ever, I’m ready to help you get to grips with it – so I’ve put together some useful slides to help you understand the redesign, as well as offering a few useful hints and tips.
